Each base material batch individually inspected before blending — moisture, particle size, hardness, and microbiological safety tested per component. No out-of-spec component enters the blending line.
Gravimetric dosing system measures component ratios by weight (not volume) to achieve ±2% accuracy on every batch. Blend is performed at low rotation speed to minimize segregation of components with different densities.
Post-blending, five samples are drawn from different points in the batch and individually analyzed. Ratio must be within ±3% of specification across all five samples. Batches failing this test are re-blended before packaging.

Producing consistent blended litter at commercial scale is harder than it looks.
